Photos of Edie Sedgwick by Jerry Schatzberg
I saw a film screening/discussion of
Puzzle of a Downfall Child with Faye Dunaway this week. Jerry Schatzberg was there and I was glad to have had the opportunity to hear him speak and learn more about his amazing career.
He mentioned that models in the 50s and 60s were true professionals and came to work having done their own styling, makeup, and hair. In part because they were 10-15 years older! An interesting insight on a time gone by. After all, what would a fashion show be without a scandal about a 16 year old hitting the catwalk?
He has a new book which is a collection of his incredible photography
here.
