Watching I Am Love last night made me think more about orange. Raf Simons used a beautiful light citrus orange to dress Tilda Swinton several times throughout I Am Love. What a beautiful under-used color. This color was very popular in the 50s and 60s but not so much today unfortunately. Pantone just named the 2012 Color of the Year "Tangerine Tango"..I would have liked it to be a lighter orange (a la Raf) but Tangerine Tango is a pretty universal shade of red-orange. Perhaps more immediately understandable.
